Retinology

The diseases of the back part of the eye deals with the prevention, diagnostic and treatment of diseases that affect the deepest eye structures, i.e. retina. Ultrasonic diagnostic with a detailed examination of the eye bottom enables good visualization of the vitreous body, retina and the choroid of the eye. Damage in the centre of vision, such as degenerative macula diseases and damage to the eye due to diabetes are scanned and analyzed with the most modern high resolution device for three-dimensional display of the eye depth, the so-called Optical Coherent Tomography (OCT).
